One of our customers, Willan Publishing has won the Independent Publishers Award 2009 for International Achievement of the Year. Willan has been with WebGuild Media for several years and uses our publisher specific website solution. This enables them to have a very powerful book database which has helped to establish them as a global independent publisher. We have given them a website that enables them to sell their books online in various currencies and they can also set up any discounts required.  All this they can update themselves - they have total control over their website and database.

Willan also has our ONIX for Books facility which allows publishers to provide accurate and timely information to the supply chain, increasing sales and giving customers a pleasant and enjoyable on-line shopping experience.

Willan stood out at the awards in their category for their strong international strategy and a growth in overseas sales in 2008 - in new as well as established territories.

The IPA judges liked their use of databases, mailings, advertising and conferences to increase awareness of its books, and noted the company's increasingly global approach to commissioning.
